Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if I've moved to the court of a Roman emperor.

It is pretty boring, I will admit.

There is a version with zombies that is not so boring but terrible for other reasons.

Oui. Zombies. There is a ball with dancing and then there are swords and zombies and then they go home.

That would at least make the story more interesting.

It did, certainly. If nothing else, you must admire the zombie author's mimicry of Austen's dry style.
